Conclusion:  If you are still confused which antivirus to buy then personally I would recommend you to buy Bitdefender antivirus plus for your home use as it is by par the best product on the list. However if you want to stay with the free antivirus options then Avira Free Antivirus offers excellent malware prevention and the ability to fine-tune the product to your exact specifications. Moreover, with free add-on software, it has features that rival mid-priced paid antivirus suites. But if you are the kind of person who does not want to manually mess with all the different settings, then try Bitdefender Antivirus Free Edition, which has equally good malware protection but does not let you adjust much and does most of the stuffs with its auto-tuned settings.
